Between the games I play religiously on Steam, there are areas I don't talk about. The shadowlands, where the greyed out, uninstalled games reside, a list longer than a mother of five's grocery list on a Monday evening, right before closing time. When are you going to play us, I hear them yell. You know what I say? I say 'shut the hell up, you ungrateful swines. I own you.' My psychiatrist says I shouldn't do that, but how else will I stop their plotting of my assassination? Oh right, there's another way. Time to play them, I guess.

Film Review: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
On the fourteenth day of December my true love gave me nothing at all. Instead, I dared a foot or two inside the cinema yet again, despite having suffered a summer of immense dissatisfaction in the forms of Sarah Palin running on a treadmill, Noomi Rapace giving birth, and a plethora of one-liners mouthed by a leather-clad Bane Catwoman Batman. This time, however, I return to a place left undisturbed for some time. A place most of us know and love. A place known as Middle Earth.

Much pressure has been left on Nolan's shoulders regarding just how he was to wrap up the story of a legend. But did he succeed in his mission?

Film Review: Prometheus
Having just recovered from the depression that Iron Sky left in me, I once again dared to step foot in a cinema in search of another representative of the science fiction genre - of which I am a huge fan, might I add. The obvious choice fell on Prometheus, Ridley Scott's epic prequel to Alien, which promised a deep and touching story along with action sequences on a massive scale. Tempted yet? I know I was. Let's take a closer look at it all.
